We may collect the location data through our HR mobile app for attendance tracking purposes. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of customer's employees and ensuring that their personal information is handled with the utmost care.
- Location Data: Our HR mobile app collects location data to accurately record employee attendance. This data includes the device’s GPS coordinates at the time of clock-in and clock-out.
- Purpose: The sole purpose of collecting location data is to verify employee presence at the designated work location and to accurately record attendance for HR management purposes.
- Attendance Tracking: The collected location data is used exclusively to determine employee attendance and generate accurate attendance reports.
- HR Systems: The data is processed and stored within our HR systems for payroll, time-off management, and other HR-related functions.
- No Third-Party Sharing: We do not share, sell, or rent employee location data with any third parties for any purpose.
6. Data Security
We implement robust security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments.
7. Data Retention and Data Deletion
Customer Data Retention:
All customer data collected through the app will be retained for a period of one (1) year from the termination of the contract between SME Intellect and the customer.
Customer data includes but is not limited to employee attendance records, personal information (name, ID number, etc.), and any other data directly related to the customer's HR management.
System Data Retention:
System-generated data, such as app usage analytics, error logs, and performance metrics, will be retained for six months for analysis and improvement purposes.
Customer Data Deletion:
Upon the expiration of the one-year retention period, all customer data will be permanently deleted from the Firebase database.
To ensure complete data deletion, the following steps will be taken:
Removal of all data associated with the customer's account.
Deletion of any backups or copies of the customer's data.
Verification of complete data deletion.
System Data Deletion:
System data will be deleted according to the specified retention period.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information stored in the HR Intellect Mobile App. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact your organization's HR department or the app administrator.
